Kimchi, the national food of Korea, is a fermented vegetable dish. Kimchi is traditionally made by combining cabbage, scallions or radish in a brine with garlic, ginger, chili pepper and fish sauce, and by allowing these ingredients to ferment. Kimchi has a rich history in  Korea dating back more than two thousand years.
 
In this class, you will learn how to make Kimchi step by step and will also learn Yun’s secret on how to make Kimchi more delicious and healthy . This class will also cover basic Korean ingredients and techniques of vegetable cutting.
 
Banchan Workshop:
The Korean Banchan is the collective name for Korean side dishes served alongside Korean cuisine. And if you’ve ever eaten at a Korean  restaurant,  you’ll know them by their multitude, and that they all somehow fit together.
Discover the art of Korean Banchan in our hands-on class where you’ll learn to create a diverse array of small, flavorful side dishes. Join us for an enjoyable culinary experience, suitable for all skill levels, as we delve into the rich cultural significance and techniques behind these delightful Korean accompaniments.
